Travelling to Lake Achensee by train and bus is not only an environmentally friendly option, but also an extremely convenient and uncomplicated one! Thanks to the well-developed transport network in Tyrol, you can reach your destination sustainably. Jenbach, a central transport hub in the region, is only 25 minutes by bus from the picturesque Achensee.
For travellers from Vienna, the "Railjet" offers up to eight daily connections to Jenbach. There is also a connection from the Bavarian capital Munich to Jenbach station at least every hour. From there, the journey continues seamlessly: buses of the Verkehrsverbund Tirol (VVT) take you directly to Lake Achensee at regular intervals.
